Purple Bird Nails

Hi guys. I did these a few weeks back and absolutely loved them. I love mix and match nails and these really were a mix of a lot of different things. To get this look you will need the following (I added affiliate links to the items listed below, for your convenience):

  1. First, prepare your nails for your gel manicure. Click here to see how to do this.
  2. Apply primer to your nails and allow them to air dry.
  3. Apply a thin coat of base gel to your nails and cure in the lamp.
  4. Apply Modelones #1415 to your thumb, index, and middle fingers, apply Heirloom Lilac to your ring finger, and apply Galaxy Traveler to your pinky finger nail and cure in the lamp. I usually do a quick 10 second flash cure after I paint each nail then do the full cure after the last nail is painted.
  5. Repeat this step until you are satisfied with the coverage. Then apply one coat of Elite99 chameleon gel #3010 to your index finger and cure in the lamp.
  6. Use nail glue and the tweezers to attach a gold bird cage to your middle finger.
  7. Apply foil glue to your ring finger and allow it to set for a few minutes. Apply the feather transfer foil to your nail.
  8. Apply a coat of top gel and cure in the lamp. Apply a second coat to your middle and ring finger nails and cure in the lamp.
  9. Use a lint-free wipe and nail cleanser to wipe your nails and remove any tacky residue.
  10. Apply cuticle oil to your cuticles and massage in.
